Spotlight on Penshaw View

We have decided to shout about our lovely support clients which we help in the UK.

Each month we will be interviewing a different company who we assist.

They will tell us about what they do and how having continuous support has helped grow their business.

Business Development Manager, Jamie Pell

This month we chatted with the Business Development Manager at Penshaw View, Jamie Pell to highlight what Penshaw View does and how they run their business.

Penshaw view which officially started in 2011, specialises mainly in training, including apprenticeships (delivered nationally), health and safety compliance & competence training, back to work training and also health & safety consultancy services.

Penshaw View is a family-ran business. which employs around thirty staff, however according to Jamie they are all a “tight-knit bunch”, as everyone works together and are team players.

Before Blueocto optimised and made incremental improvements such as redesigning the home page, the old Penshaw View website wasn’t seen on Google as user-friendly.

Jamie explained to us that “since the website is constantly being developed, we are finding that we are getting more visitors, staying for longer, and more enquiries.”

After a hard long year of COVID-19, Penshaw View as a business was affected due to the lack of face to face training however as a team, they worked together to adapt their training to become virtual.

As restrictions slowly eased this year, Jamie explains how Penshaw view have seen “a large upturn in enquiries and training courses going ahead.”

The future holds a lot for Penshaw View, as more business are working harder to increase their health and safety training and consultancy services, the guys at Penshaw View are working further afield than ever before taking on new clients in North Yorkshire and Teesside.

Therefore they have been busy like they never have been before with new projects, such as their new Just-Eat’s contact centre operation in Sunderland.

Although Blueocto are still helping Penshaw View with their website, there has been a positive response of from Penshaw since we have started to improve their site!

So go and take a look at Penshaw View’s website: https://penshawview.co.uk/ and follow them on Facebook to keep up with all the latest news!  https://www.facebook.com/Penshawviewtraining

Since using Blueocto, we have seen an upturn in our website performance, with more enquiries than ever coming through!”

Next month we will be talking about Finale Shoes and Accessories and including an interview with Faye Clark who helps run her family business, so keep tuned!
