We have decided to shout about our lovely support clients which we help in the UK. Each month we will be interviewing a different company who we assist.
They will tell us about what they do and how having continuous support has helped grow their business.
To start this mini spotlight support series let us introduce you to Pimms and Needles.
Since 2015, Pimms and Needles have been a Community Interest Company, which organise fun and friendly ladies’ groups at venues across the North East and North Yorkshire.

Although Pimms and Needles did have a website previously, it wasn’t the way the company wanted it to be, therefore Blueocto redesigned and updated the site to make it more engaging and more brand friendly.
The new design which was built on WordPress allowed the team to add, edit and delete content very easily.
They can also use snippets from the Event platform to integrate their calendar of meetings straight into the website.
Founders of this non-profit woman organisation, Charlotte and Donna, have set up fifteen meeting groups in the North East, which bring woman together in their communities.
The womens’ business has soared within the last five years, and it is clear that the future holds a lot of potential for Pimms and Needles, they explain below how much the business is expanding after the global pandemic.
We are rapidly expanding, there is a huge demand for what we do, we just need to find time to grow our business.
We couldn’t run our organisation without our website, we get so many enquiries we would spend all day answering emails if we didn’t have it!
They explain how much their website helps grow their business, as not only does it connect women together but it makes Donna and Charlotte’s job much easier!
